چکیده

This paper proposes a realization of power factor function generator having an arbitrary base and power factor which are determined by the ratios of the currents provided from outside of the circuit. The circuit characteristics do not depend on any transistor parameters, temperature, and other environmental conditions. The circuit operation is based on current mode that has a capability of low power supply voltage operation below than 2.0V. SPICE simulation has been carried out using 0.7μm BiCMOS parameters and shows quite good transfer characteristics. key words: function generator, current-mode circuit, low voltage circuit

A High Gain Bipolar Pulse Generator with Low Voltage Input Source

This paper proposes a pulsed power generator which consists of two types of switched-capacitor booster modules. A doubling mode module employed to elevate the input voltage to a specified level and, constant mode module is used to increase the elevated voltage into the finally intended bipolar output voltage. Also, the proposed modular structure does not utilize any switches across the load. Ot...

Sliding-Mode-based Improved Direct Active and Reactive Power Control of Doubly Fed Induction Generator under Unbalanced Grid Voltage Condition

This paper proposes an improved direct active and reactive power control (DPC) strategy for a grid-connected doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind-turbine system under unbalanced grid voltage condition. The method produces required rotor voltage references based on the sliding mode control (SMC) approach in stationary reference frame, without the requirement of synchronous coordinate...

Low Voltage Ride Through Enhancement Based on Improved Direct Power Control of DFIG under Unbalanced and Harmonically Distorted Grid Voltage

In the conventional structure of the wind turbines along with the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG), the stator is directly connected to the power grid. Therefore, voltage changes in the grid result in severe transient conditions in the stator and rotor. In cases where the changes are severe, the generator will be disconnected from the grid and consequently the grid stability will be attenu...

Efficient low-voltage ride-through nonlinear backstepping control strategy for PMSG-based wind turbine during the grid faults

This paper presents a new nonlinear backstepping controller for a direct-driven permanent magnet synchronous generator-based wind turbine, which is connected to the power system via back-to-back converters. The proposed controller deals with maximum power point tracking (MPPT) in normal condition and enhances the low-voltage ride-through (LVRT) capability in fault conditions. In this method, to...

Implementation of Control Variables to Exploit Output Power for SRGs in Single Pulse Mode Operation

This paper presents an analytical modeling method of optimal control variables to maximize output power for switched reluctance generators (SRGs) in single pulse mode operation. This method extends the basic theory of the Stiebler model and utilizes the flux linkage function to express the inductance model of SRG. In this paper, the optimal phase current shape of SRG for maximum output power is...
